ABOUT

Phil Blattenberger is a writer, director, and film producer best known for Condor's Nest (2023) and Laws of Man (2025).

Nominated for Best First-time Filmmaker at the St. Louis International Film Festival, Blattenberger also garnered nominations for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay at the Sydney Indie Film Festival, where his debut feature, Vietnam drama Point Man, won Best Film. In 2021 he moved on to helm Voltage Pictures title Condor's Nest, which he wrote and directed. His third film, Laws of Man (2025) stars Harvey Keitel and recently premiered on Hulu; Ascendant, his fourth title as an auteur, stars Richard Brake and releases in 2026.

In his ten-year career, Phil has directed the likes of Harvey Keitel, Dermot Mulroney, Keith Carradine, Graham Greene, Richard Brake, Bruce Davison, Jorge Garcia, KateLynn E. Newberry, Christofer El, Corinne Britti, Forrie J. Smith, James Urbaniak, Arnold Vosloo, Michael Ironside, and Jackson Rathbone.

In 2026 he founded Uncharted Entertainment, an international sales agency representing commercially-oriented feature films with acclaimed cast, building a slate of films and debuting at the European Film Market in Berlin the same year.

Beyond film, Phil is an avid fly fisherman and answers to his daughter, Zoe, and cats, Huey and Kitkat.
